I’ve been teaching IB Maths for just over eight years, mainly with students taking AA at SL and HL. A lot of my work is around timed practice, IA feedback, and helping students stop dropping marks on questions they actually understand. I’m particularly good with functions, calculus, and probability, and I tend to work best with students who want lessons that are structured and exam-focused.

Hi, I’m an IB Maths tutor who mostly works with students who feel the course moves too fast in class. I teach IB only, so the lessons stay very close to the syllabus and the style of the papers. I spend a lot of time on stats, interpretation, and showing students how to set working out properly. I also help with IA ideas when someone is stuck between a good topic and one that’s far too ambitious.

I tutor IB Maths on a one-to-one basis and have done so for the past six years. My students are usually preparing for AA HL or trying to recover after a difficult first term. I’m quite methodical in lessons: we review classwork, rebuild weak topics, then move quickly into past-paper questions. Sequences, proof, and calculus tend to be the areas I teach most often, especially in the run-up to mocks.

I came into tutoring through IB itself, and I’ve stayed with it because I like how different each student’s gaps can be. Some need help keeping up week to week, others only want a push before exams. I teach IB Maths with a strong focus on question style, graphing, and clear working. If you freeze on long algebra questions or lose marks in simple places, that’s usually where I come in.

My background is in mathematics, and for the last ten years I’ve worked almost entirely with IB students. I teach both AI and AA, though most of my timetable is HL. Lessons are practical rather than chatty: we go through the topic, identify where marks are being lost, and practise until the method is reliable. I also read draft IAs and comment on maths depth, structure, and whether the exploration is really workable.

I’m a straightforward IB Maths tutor and I don’t try to make the course into something it isn’t. We cover the content, fix the weak spots, and get you used to the way IB asks questions. I’ve helped students with everything from topic tests to final revision, and I’m especially useful for algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. Quite a few of my students come to me because they understand the chapter but can’t turn that into marks yet.
